Mi Casa Verde Now Shipping New Vera Line Up for 2012

Las Vegas, Nevada, January 10th, 2012 - Mi Casa Verde has begun shipping its new product line for 2012 including VeraLite, Vera3, and its new UI5 user interface. Each of the hardware controllers and the new User Interface has significant feature improvements that give greater control to the user and provide simpler and more intuitive consumer benefits. Both of the controllers and the UI5 are now shipping to dealers and distributors.

"We are thrilled to be shipping these exciting new products. Our new controllers and our UI5 interface will simplify consumers setting up their systems and will give our users a number of significant new features to enhance their ability to control their home or business from anywhere. In addition, we now can offer our customers a whole library of downloadable apps in the MiOS Marketplace, allowing 3rd party developers to present customers with new features and increased operability between devices", says Lew Brown, EVP Business Development, Sales, and Marketing.

"We have achieved an even more affordable price point with our new VeraLite ($179 MAP) and at the same time deliver some great new features such as a built-in battery compartment for easy inclusion of Z-Wave devices into the network. The beefier Vera3 ($299 MAP) now has built-in Wi-Fi N to allow Vera3 to act as the primary router in the home or business network as well as a faster processor and more memory than its predecessor."

With the new UI5, both Vera controllers will allow users to easily expand their system's capabilities by utilizing the free or paid for apps that allow them to integrate with alarm panels, add a broad range of IP cameras, add advanced energy management and more. UI5 also helps users create scenes more easily, and can take advantage of the new video streaming and archiving service being offered.
